BNP Paribas REIM, INÉA and La Française REM renew their trust in iQspot: 450,000 sqm monitored in real time to optimize the real estate energy transition

A major player in energy efficiency, iQspot is redefining the way in which real estate companies optimize the management of their fluids (electricity, gas, urban network, water) and promote the comfort of their tenants (temperature, humidity, brightness, noise, CO2). Valuable data to commit to a necessary and virtuous real estate energy transition. In 2023, no less than 40 million data points were analyzed to provide its clients with strategic and decisive advice. A remarkable performance that has not escaped the attention of institutional investors, property managers and companies that have trusted it for nearly 10 years.

Among the clients won over by the iQspot solution, we can notably count BNP Paribas REIM France. In 2021, the group entrusted the management of part of its buildings to iQspot in order to achieve ambitious decarbonization objectives. A winning bet, because the company was able to achieve more than 15% energy savings, i.e. €40,000 saved and 38.1 teq. of CO2 emissions avoided in a single year. Today, BNP Paribas REIM France is renewing its trust in iQspot, by entrusting it with 21 additional buildings, the equivalent of 240,781 sqm.

“We are very satisfied with the initial results observed since the installation of the iQspot solution. We will continue in this direction and deploy it on a larger scale across our real estate portfolio. This allows us to control our energy consumption while maintaining a high quality of comfort for our tenants,” says Anthony Godat – Director of the BNP Paribas REIM Technical Service

La Française Real Estate Managers (REM) was also looking for a trusted partner to support it in its environmental challenges. Since 2018, iQspot’s cutting-edge technology, data reliability and adaptability to their specific issues have convinced them to entrust it with the management of many buildings. In 2024, 18 additional buildings will be equipped with the iQspot solution, the equivalent of 206,563 sqm.

“Today, iQspot allows us to obtain reliable data to reduce our energy consumption. These convincing results have convinced us to extend the solution to a wider area of our real estate portfolio to achieve our decarbonization objectives” explains Antoine Vincke – Director of Socially Responsible Real Estate Investment at La Française REM

For its part, the real estate company INÉA entrusted the equipment of its first office to iQspot in 2017. Since then, more than 314,000 sqm have benefited from continuous and real-time monitoring. Faced with new challenges, INÉA is now facing the need to monitor the renewable energy production of its photovoltaic power plants, a mission that it has entrusted to iQspot, which will aggregate the data on its platform.

“Our ambitious decarbonization strategy is underway, the first stage aimed at energy sobriety has been achieved. We are obviously continuing our efforts and today, we are tackling the second phase: the production of renewable energy. Its monitoring will be possible thanks to our collaboration with iQspot, which allows us to model this production on its platform. A new step in our partnership.” says Karine Dachary – Deputy General Manager at INÉA

“We are extremely grateful to our loyal customers who have chosen to renew their partnerships with us. Over the years, the tangible results and the consolidation of their relationships of trust are evidence of the performance of our innovation. We are convinced that technology can serve great ecological ambitions and allow us to work together for responsible real estate. » concludes Julien Bruneau – CEO of iQspot.

About iQspot

Based in Paris and Bordeaux, iQspot is the result of the meeting between two engineers Julien Bruneau and Quentin Enard. Two doctors convinced that technology can serve great ecological ambitions, particularly in the field of real estate, responsible for 43% of energy consumption and 23% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In 2015, they created iQspot, a solution to facilitate and promote reductions in consumption in tertiary buildings.
